London 2012 Open Weekend registration is open and Yorkshire events are starting to flow in. This year to celebrate the annual countdown celebration to the Games, there is an invitation to cultural, sporting and learning organisations across the UK to set and complete a challenge for the public inspired by London 2012.
The Train to Gain Enhancement Fund is a regional initiative designed to support training and development needs of companies throughout the region. The recent announcement of further funding means that more businesses in South Yorkshire can benefit from this support.

Following on from a successful Get Set workshop in March where many teachers learned how to get the most out of the London 2012 domestic education programme, Scarborough Borough Council is now seeking to raise wider awareness of the opportunities of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games at an inspiring event at Baron’s Leisure Centre (Scarborough Rugby Club) on Tuesday the 29th of June 2010.
