As part of the launch of the Mascots, the London 2012 Education Team has also launched:

  • activity sheets about the mascots for every age group
  • primary and secondary assembly packs (featuring a presentation to use when introducing Wenlock and Mandeville to students, the full animated film and the full Michael Morpurgo story)
  • a competition to win a visit from one of the mascots before the end of term
  • a brand new image bank

The competition invites schools to describe, in not more than 100 words, how they are using the Olympic and Paralympic Values to help them push past their personal best in sport and in their community. There will be 12 winners, one per nation and region - all winning a visit from either Wenlock or Mandeville.

Entry is via a form on the Get Set website – establishments must be registered with the programme and logged in to the website to enter. Education establishments do not have to be a member of the Get Set network, but winners will be expected to join!
