Train to Gain Enhancement Fund – Innovative Ideas Requested

E-mail Print PDF

Train to Gain Enhancement Fund logo

The Train to Gain Enhancement Fund is a regional initiative designed to support training and development needs of companies throughout the region.  The recent announcement of further funding means that more businesses in South Yorkshire can benefit from this support.

We are constantly looking for new, innovative ideas to fund activity in South Yorkshire and we would welcome any ideas for the sport and leisure sector which perhaps focus on the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympics Games. The criteria are as follows:

  • Beneficiaries must be employed in the South Yorkshire sub region; we can support volunteers where there is at least one paid employee
  • The fund can support private companies, partnerships, charities and sole traders and voluntary & community organisations operating in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Public Sector organisations & their employees are not eligible for support.

If you have any ideas you would like to discuss then please contact Jeremy Boye on 07595 088082 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

The Enhancement Fund is funded by Yorkshire Forward and the European Social Fund, co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency. For further information please visit www.enhancementfund.co.uk where you can find full details about the fund and news/event information. Another useful website is www.fit4funding.org.uk.
