  Yorkshire Gold is the region's strategy for seizing the opportunities of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. It is a wide-reaching initiative that has been established to ensure the people, communities and businesses of Yorkshire and Humber benefit commercially, culturally and in every other possible way from the 2012 Games. There are five Golden Opportunities: Sport and physical activity Communities Culture Tourism Business And 10 Legacy Targets that will become tangible outcomes for the region, with 15 key activities seen as leading to success.
